Porrentruy is on the doorstep of Paris. The TGV Rhin Rhône high-speed train stops just a stone's throw from the Swiss border, near Belfort, putting Porrentruy just over 2h30 from the City of Light. Construction of the freeway has revealed dinosaur tracks dating back 150 million years, making it one of the most important sites in the world.
