The village of Coeuve lies 5 km north of Porrentruy. It has an altitude of 447 m. and a population of 700. In terms of its built heritage, Coeuve is a rural village where life is good. The middle of the village is known for its Lavoirs, which date back to the 18th century and were renovated in 1999. Next to the Lavoirs, let's not forget the Château, mentioned as far back as 1136. It was the former residence of the Princes-Bishops of Basel. The Coeuve school, restored in 2001, the multi-purpose hall, built in 1990, and the communal wine press, which was completely renovated in 2011 and fitted out with modern equipment, all stand in the middle of the village
