- The village of Coeuve is located 5 kilometers north of Porrentruy. It has an altitude of 447 m. and a population of 700. In line with its built heritage, Coeuve has more of a rural vocation, where life is good. The middle of the village is known for its Lavoirs, which date back to the 18th century and were renovated in 1999. Next to the Lavoirs, let's not forget the Château, mentioned as far back as 1136. It was the former residence of the Princes-Bishops of Basel.
