Municipality

The Commune of Val Terbi was born on January 1, 2013 from the merger of the villages of Vicques, Vermes and Montsevelier. The Val Terbi merger project provided for the consolidation of the 7 municipalities of Val Terbi. However, Courroux, Courchapoix, Corban and Mervelier refused it in a popular vote on February 7, 2012. The merger was ratified by the Jura Parliament on June 20, 2012. On January 1, 2018, Corban joined the merged municipality of Val Terbi.
